Baiitsu was a prolific painter working in the nanga style. That is a Chinese painting style in which the true shapes and colors of objects are deemphasized as a supposed sign of sudden artistic inspiration. Baiitsu studied under Kyujō Yamada and Rantei Yamamoto. This gallery shows ten of Baiitsu’s flower and (or) bird paintings. To see more of Baiitsu’s paintings click here.
